JohnWOODSWOODS The family of the late John Woods would like to thank relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards, letters and floral tributes received following their recent sad bereavement. Thanks also to the huge number of people who attended both funeral services last week. Special thanks go to the Emergency Services and staff at High Gree Farm who attended the tragic accident and Police Scotland, especially Family Liaison Officers Gary Hay and Willie Graham, for all their invaluable assistance and support. In addition thanks to John's colleagues at Police Scotland for their participation in John's funeral. It was a great comfort to all the family. Thanks also to Co-operative Funeralcare, Irvine, and Holmsfordbridge Crematorium for their professional and caring funeral arrangements and the Menzies Irvine Hotel for hosting the service and catering arrangements. A retiring collection raised just over £943 - with more promised - which will be divided between the British Heart Foundation and the Police Scotland Benevolent Fund. A magnificent effort, well done to all concerned.
